Murashev S.V., Verzhuk V.G., Belova A.Y.
Earlier 1- 2 months prior to the collection of harvest the prognostication of the losses of plant production during the refrigeratory storage is possible on the basis of a study of the reflectivity of leaves of plants. Most significant from the point of view of prognostication in the reflection spectra of leaves is range 500 - 570 nm, in which the additional light-collecting function with respect to the chlorophyll carries out carotenoids. At the same time they fulfill shielding function, which in the totality, apparently, ensures the formation of plant production with the lower losses during the refrigeratory storage.
