The paper considers possibilities of raising performance features of technological equipment, in particular of apparatus for heat treatment of foods, owing to improving heat transfer by using multilayer metal compositions. Results of stress evaluation of the metal composition (steel+copper+steel) are adduced, it being welded by explosion when heated in the range of 100–300оС.
