The use of burgers’ equation as a model equation for the dynamics of viscous medium in a channel

Calculating the transient flow of viscous fluids in a pipe is a complex mathematical problem usually solved by computer-aided numerical techniques. Burgers’ equation is offered as a tool for modelling the dynamics of viscous medium in a channel while studying convergence and stability of computing algorithms.
